Fergie at the NY "Nine" Premiere

Taking "the stage," pop star Fergie introduced the world premiere of the music video that coincides with the release of The Weinstein Company's latest big release, Rob Marshall's "Nine." The film has been on the premiere road lately, screening in London, L.A. and even opening the Dubai Film Festival - sans its stars - but the whole glamour crew, including Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Dame Judi Dench and Daniel Day-Lewis along with Fergie were in town for the New York premiere at the Ziegfeld in Midtown Tuesday night (Sophia Loren did not make it). Each music performance was interrupted with a round of applause inside the screening, and Fergie's rendition for "Be Italian" was one of the biggest on the "applauseometer." Fergie introduced the video, which is released Wednesday (TWC head Harvey Weinstein is in the lower left corner looking on) and "Nine" hits theaters beginning Friday.
