Finally, a politician we can be proud of! San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom on stage at the DGA after a screening of "Pursuit of Equality", with the filmmakers Mike Shaw and Geoff Callan. The film documents the period leading up to and during period last year when Newsom authorized the city to grant same-sex marriage licenses. To say the least, Newsom. Who stayed after the screening to mix with the crowd chatting, and taking photos with fans, was treated like a rock star.
