Lee Daniels and Sapphire at "Precious" cocktails

"Precious: Based on the Novel by Sapphire" director Lee Daniels with author Sapphire herself tonight (Sunday) at a cocktail party at the Royal Ontario Museum prior to the film's screening at the Toronto International Film Festival. Mariah Carey, actress Gabourey 'Gabby' Sidibe, Mary J. Blige and Sherri Shepherd were among the attendees at the soiree, though some seemed disappointed Oprah was a no show, though she did show up at the press conference early morning at the Four Seasons Hotel.
