British actress Helen Mirren greeted a well-wisher inside the main tent at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. Mirren was nominated for Best Female Lead for her role in "The Station Agent," which also had multiple nominations for Best Director (Michael Hoffman), Best Feature, Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Male (Christopher Plummer).
