Indiewire 2012 Year-End Critics Poll Ballots

See The Complete Survey
"I've replaced three of my 2012 favourites that are ineligible for this poll—two of which I've included in the "Undistributed" list (Three Sisters, Romancing in Thin Air) and one which has secured US distribution for next year (Leviathan)—with films that made my top ten last year (This is Not a Film, The Color Wheel, Life Without Principle).

My 10th slot could have easily have gone to a handful of other films (Magic Mike, Lincoln, Flight) but it seemed appropriate to hand it over to W.S. in what was a memorable year for Vulgar Auteurism.

My vote for best documentary would go to Herzog’s Into the Abyss, which made it my way this year, but was released late in 2011, as well as his companion mini-series On Death Row." -- Adam Cook from MUBI, The Keyframe Daily
