Terry Gilliam To Godfather Retro, Sci-Fi Fantasy '1884'

The hot new job title to have around Hollywood is "Creative Godfather." Christopher Nolan is the most prominent name to have the mantle, as he overlooks Zack Snyder's upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel" but another helmer has quickly taken a shine to the new moniker.

Weekend Box Office: 'Tron' Saves Face, 'How Do You Know' Doesn't Get To Know Anyone

Are you ready for another “Avatar” experience? No? Well, okay, guess that’s fine. “Tron: Legacy” opened to the same midnight numbers as the James Cameron epic, but failed to equal that film’s general attendance or gross in its first weekend. 'Tron' has been pushed for a couple of years now as a near...

We're pretty sure that this one will require at least one viewing under the influence of certain herbs and plants, but the full length trailer for Paramount's "Rango" has arrived and it looks like a total mindfuck. In a good way.

Watch: Alternate Ending For 'Yogi Bear' Redoes 'Assassination of Jesse James,' Not For Kids

Either the filmmakers behind the upcoming "Yogi Bear" have a wickedly morose sense of humor or someone is showing off his considerable animation skills, but a viral clip of sorts has hit the web of a (probably fake) alternate ending to the forthcoming animated picture.

DreamWorks Animation Announces New Film 'Me And My Shadow,' Will Hit Theaters In March 2013

Even though DreamWorks Animation honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg is content to keep the money train rolling on the studio's tried and true franchise (there are plans for half a dozen "Kung Fu Panda" movies), the studio will get to some more original content. Eventually.

Is This Why Pixar's 'Newt' Was Cancelled?Ever since his debut in 2002's "Roger Dodger," Jesse Eisenberg's career has gone from strength to strength. Following that film fairly swiftly with a brilliant performance in Noah Baumbach's "The Squid and the Whale," before having a banner year in 2009 with ...
