Moms, Get a Sitter and See Sex Tape With Your Hubby!

I was someone's lucky date to the Westwood premiere of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel's new comedy, Sex Tape, but I was skeptical. Could two actors who had never wed nor had any children be able to portray a married couple with two kids who lost that spark that got them their nuclear family in the fir...

Review: 'Sex Tape' Starring Cameron Diaz And Jason Segel

As far as weird on-screen sexual scenarios go, Cameron Diaz has had her fair share. After all, she is the only actress in the history of the medium to have styled her hair with male ejaculate ("There's Something About Mary"), been involved in some kind of weird old timey abortion ("Gangs of New York...

Cool Trailers Of The Week: Liam Shoots People, Jamie Foxx Bursts Into Song and Coogan & Brydon Take A Trip To Italy

It definitely was a "Cool" week for trailers as we were treated to an oh-that's-much-better second trailer for Sony's "Annie", a first look at Jason Bateman and Tina Fey in the family comedy, "This Is Where I Leave You", and two minutes plus of Coogan & Brydon impressions and orecchiette in "The Tri...

Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel's "Sex Tape" Leaks To The Public One Week Earlier

Sony announced today that it is moving the Cameron Diaz/Jason Segel comedy, "Sex Tape" from July 25th to July 18th. In vacating the 25th, it avoids a box office showdown with Universal's Scarlett Johansson actioner, "Lucy", Paramount's "Hercules" and Lionsgate's latest "Step Up" movie.

Box Office Prediction and Analysis--"The Other Woman"

While on the Believability Meter "The Other Woman" lands somewhere below the Warren Report, the film stands a good chance of reclaiming a female audience sorely absent from multiplexes so far this year. Look for Girls Night Outs aplenty this coming weekend

Ridley Scott Says He Prefers Director's Cut Of 'The Counselor,' Mocks Fox Studio's Prudishness

When "The Counselor" was released last fall, it was an intriguing conundrum: how had Ridley Scott, the one-time bad boy auteur behind "Blade Runner" and "Alien," taken the first original screenplay by legendary American author Cormac McCarthy (of "No Country for Old Men" and "The Road" fame), and tu...

Yep, it was in 3,336 theaters, stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz (among myriad other names), was directed by Ridley Scott and written by celebrated American author Cormac McCarthy, but 20th Century Fox's "The Counselor" flopped despite all that star powe...

Watch: Javier Bardem Meets Cameron Diaz's Cheetah In Clip From 'The Counselor'

If you still need a Halloween costume idea then might we suggest going as Javier Bardem in "The Counselor"? From the loud hair to the even louder shirts, his role as Reiner in the Cormac McCarthy penned thriller looks like one for the ages, or at the very least for this weekend.

Oscars: A Look At The Supporting Actress Contenders, Including Oprah Winfrey, Cameron Diaz & Lupita Nyong'o

It's been a busy week or so in Oscar Land: rumors have swirled around the release, or not, of "The Wolf Of Wall Street," previously thought a potential frontrunner, while Bennett Miller's "Foxcatcher" stormed into the race with an excellent teaser trailer, only for it to be announced almost immediat...

Michael Fassbender Gets Fidgety In New 2 Clips From 'The Counselor'; Plus 5 New Character Posters

One of the pleasures to be had from Ridley Scott's upcoming thriller "The Counselor," we're assuming, is watching Michael Fassbender squirm. The film, based on the first original screenplay from "No Country for Old Men" author Cormac McCarthy, concerns a lawyer (Fassbender) who gets involved in drug...
