US in Progress is a joint initiative between the American Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland, the Champs-Elysées Film Festival in Paris and Black Rabbit Film. It is the first and only professional event dedicated to the independent American cinema which happens twice a year – during each festival.

U.S. distribution rights to the Norwegian action-adventure film "Ragnarok" have been acquired by Magnolia, the company announced earlier today. The deal was concluded during the European Film Market in Berlin, and was based on a three-minute promotional video shown during the event.
