SEPTIEN's NYC Premiere Tonight at BAMcinemaFEST (Tuesday, June 21st)
It still hasn't been 365 days since we rolled the first frame of celluloid, yet tonight carves another momentous notch into the headboard of Septien. Not only is it our NYC premiere as part of BAMcinemaFEST—on a more personal note, this means that our movie will be projected in my very favorite cinema room in the whole wide world: BAM's theater 3! I have very fond memories of sitting in this theater and having some of the best movie-going experiences of my life: sitting two rows in front of Robert Altman during McCabe & Mrs. Miller; watching Dead Man with Jim Jarmusch in attendance; the dance party that broke out at the BAM UP ALL NIGHT scree...
