    - David Fincher is a fan of South African band Die Antwoord's leading mini-lady Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and Vulture's sources indicate she has the exact look and mannerisms that Fincher wants for Lisbeth Salander in his remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Die Antwoord's representation, William Morris Endeavor, told Vulture that it wasn't clear whether Fincher was sincerely interested in Yo-Landi playing the part or if she is just his prime reference point. Apparently other studios have inquired about her interest in acting. Finally, Lisbeth Salander needs to be played by someone with more than a potential interest in acting, but even so Carey...

Live New York Interviews Promo Love Ranch and Winter's Bone

The NYT is getting into the live pre-movie opening interview racket, something Apple iTunes has been doing for some time. This week, The NYT online will live-stream a webcast of NYT critic Janet Maslin's interview with Love Ranch star Helen Mirren (who won an Oscar for The Queen) and the film's director Taylor Hackford (Ray, The Devil's Advocate), her husband, on June 14th (6:30-8pm EST). Based on a true story about a couple who opened Las Vegas's first legal brothel, the film stars Mirren and Joe Pesci as Grace and Charlie Botempo.
