This is a shot taken about 100 feet from the Burj Dubai, the building that ruined Toronto's one claim to Guinness Book of World Records fame (besides being the "world's soberest city," which is not a joke). I got serious vertigo even trying to look up at it, though I'll admit it's definitely impressive and surprisingly quite architecturally interesting. I just can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would live or work up there (some of the highest floors are residential).
