Tarsem, or to give him his full name (the director seems to have abandoned his mononame pretensions of late), Tarsem Singh, has had a mixed week. On the plus side, his latest film, swords & sorcery actioner "Immortals," opened to a healthy box office haul of $32 million -- despite some...

Steven Soderbergh's 'Haywire' Gets January 20, 2012 Release Date

Relativity Media Will Distribute in U.S.Well, that's one film we can take out of awards contention for 2011. One of Steven Soderbergh's upcoming films "Haywire" won't be released till January 20, 2012. The initial date was April, 2011, which Soderbergh confirmed himself, but it was never officially announced; the restructuring deal points took much longer than anyone expected. T...

Bootlegged Teaser Trailer For Tarsem's 'Immortals' Could Be Mistaken For Zack Snyder's '300'

The teaser trailer for Tarsem's "Immortals" has been unveiled on E! News with their signature, annoying voice over and, while only a bootleg version is available so far, it seemingly exhibits a highly-stylized swords-and-sandals pic very much in the vein of Zack Snyder's "300."
