Michael Moore & 'The Dark Knight Rises' Inspired By The Occupy Wall Street Protests

Despite (some of) the mainstream media coverage of the Occupy Wall Street protests painting the participants as a bunch of unemployed, left wing socialists who hate America, for anyone who has actually been down to Zuccotti Park (or to the various places where demonstrations have been taking place w...

'Homeland' Star Diego Klattenhoff Joins Guillermo Del Toro's 'Pacific Rim'

Sometimes when one door closes, another one opens. You might recall that back this spring "Homeland" star Diego Klattenhoff was reported to be taking a role in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises." As these things sometimes go, the scheduling couldn't be worked out and he didn't wind up doing...

Catwoman Rides A Wild Hog In First Official Look At Anne Hathaway In 'The Dark Knight Rises'

As is usually the case with Christopher Nolan productions (let's not forget, almost nothing was known about "Inception" until a week or two before release), a deep veil of secrecy hangs over the production of "The Dark Knight Rises" -- we know who most of the actors are playing, but little beyond th...

'Green Lantern' Sequel May Ditch Early Story Outlines And Start From Scratch

Just Like Audiences Worldwide, WB Reportedly Not Happy With Martin Campbell's DirectionThere is nothing about a prospective "Green Lantern 2" that doesn't reek of flop sweat. DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. are scuffling in their race against Marvel/themselves to develop a new chain of franchises based on comic book characters, and the performance of "GL" this summer has certainly hurt momentum. With "The Dark Knight Rises" pegged for next summer and "The Man Of Steel" after that, they're going to want to diversify, lest the studio be forced to greenlight a bunch of actual real movies with interesting original characters not made to sell Ha...

'Stargate SG-1' Star Christopher Judge Joins 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Yes, Comic-Con is over and regular life begins again, and while geeks were hoping that Christopher Nolan might pop his San Diego cherry this year and bring something -- anything -- from "The Dark Knight Rises," alas it was not to be but perhaps this will tide fans over.

Decoding 'The Dark Knight Rises' Teaser Trailer

Neeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrd! Ok, we'll admit, we don't normally do this type of thing, but there's been so much bitching about the apparent lack of goods delivered in "The Dark Knight Rises" teaser trailer (at least on our blog) that this writer figured he'd deliver his take on the trailer. And because ou...

Watch: Teaser Trailer For 'The Dark Knight Rises' Officially Hits

So interwebs, was it worth the wait? After days of speculation about when it would arrive with trailer descriptions being posted and the spot being leaked to the web early, "The Dark Knight Rises" teaser trailer has finally, officially arrived and it's somewhat underwhelming despite the great premis...

Gotham Is Crumbling In 'The Dark Knight Rises' Teaser Poster

While Christopher Nolan won't be swooping into Comic-Con with anything goodies from "The Dark Knight Rises" fans should be plenty satisfied already. An early peek at Tom Hardy as the villain Bane arrived a while ago and this week will be bringing more than anyone could ask for with the film in the m...

Hans Zimmer Says He's Listening To Verdi & Goldfrapp As He Prepares 'The Dark Knight Rises' Score

Though it's been known for a while now and pretty much expected, back in May it was confirmed that Hans Zimmer would once again reteam with Christopher Nolan for his currently filming "The Dark Knight Rises." The interesting bit was that James Newton Howard -- who worked with Zimmer on "The Dark Knight" -- was not returning to the fold, but that Zimmer was striking out on his own as he did for "Inception." Of course details surrounding the film remain tight and even trying to get a composer to describe his score this early in the game usually leads to ambiguous descriptions -- Zimmer told MTV earlier this year that it will be "epic" and "icon...
