Bobby Farrelly Says "Ball Is In Motion" For 'Dumb & Dumber' Sequel

With "Hall Pass" opening this weekend and getting bested by the three-week-old cartoon "Gnomeo And Juliet" it's further proof that the Farrelly Brothers are no longer the zeitgeist-capturing, filthy-minded comedy directors they once were. For their next project, "The Three Stooges," the duo are taki...

The Farrelly Brothers Say 'Hall Pass' Is A Chick Flick

Why Armie Hammer Was Cut From The Film And Other Revelations From The Filmmakers, Owen Wilson & Jason Sudeikis "Hall Pass," the upcoming comedy from Peter and Bobby Farrelly ("There's Something About Mary," "Kingpin," "Dumb And Dumber"), sees Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis as two friends given a week-long hall pass from their wives (played by Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate). They have one week off from marriage and thus the freedom to chase the girls they constantly ogle and lust after. Justin Timberlake, Larry David & Woody Harrelson Among Latest Names Linked To 'The Three Stooges'

Hank Azaria, Will Sasso, Johnny Knoxville Also MentionedIt's now four years since the last film from one-time comedy titans The Farrelly Brothers. The duo dominated the genre in the 1990s, knocking out three bona-fide classics, "Dumb & Dumber," "Kingpin" and "There's Something About Mary," in quick succession, but their efforts in the last decade ranged from the genial ("Stuck On You," "Fever Pitch") to the unwatchable ("Shallow Hal," "The Heartbreak Kid"). Their latest project, the Owen Wilson/Jason Sudeikis marital comedy "Hall Pass," hits theaters on Friday (and by all accounts, isn't anywhere near a comeback), which finally clears the way...

Johnny Knoxville & Andy Samberg Shortlisted For Farrelly Brothers' 'Three Stooges'

Considering it's supposed to start shooting in about two months, getting a cast together for the long gestating big screen version of "The Three Stooges" might be good idea. By now, its history has been told and re-told, but in short, at one point the project had a trio of high profile stars attached with Sean Penn as Larry, Jim Carrey as Curly and Benicio del Toro as Moe. Well, it looks like the Farrelly Brothers a...
