In a scene from Joe Swanberg's upcoming film "Hannah Takes The Stairs"... Kent Osbourne, Greta Gerwig and Andrew Bujalski talk about the secrets of six pack abs. The film opens in New York City on August 22nd from IFC First Take, as part of the IFC Center's upcoming series, "The New Talkies: Generation DIY." In conjunction with the IFC Series, Swanberg and Gerwig ("Hannah Takes The Stairs") will join Aaron Katz ("Quiet City") and Aaron Hillis ("Fish Kill Flea") on August 23rd at NYC's Apple Store, Soho to talk about their new films and making movies independently.

iW Sneak Peek ("2 Days in Paris") | Delpy Coming to Apple Stores in Chicago, S.F. and L.A.

Apple and indieWIRE will present Julie Delpy in person for a series of discussions about her new film "2 Days in Paris," at the Apple stores in Chicago (July 26), San Francisco (July 29), and Los Angeles (August 2). The events are free and first come first serve. In this short, exclusive clip from "2 Days in Paris," which debuted earlier this year at the Berlinale and later played at the Tribeca and Los Angeles film fests, Delpy is in bed with co-star Adam Goldberg. Samuel Goldwyn Films is releasing the film in NYC and LA on August 10th. Additional cities follow on August 24th.

iW Sneak Peek | Werner Herzog's "Rescue Dawn"

In this short exclusive scene from Werner Herzog's new movie, "Rescue Dawn" -- based on the same true story as Herzog's classic documentary, "Little Dieter Learns To Fly" -- German born American military pilot Dieter Dengler (played by Christian Bale) is interrogated by his captors after being shot down during the Vietnam War. The film is an MGM Studios release in theaters July 4, 2007.
