Small, Beautifully Moving Parts

Sarah Sparks is pregnant and feeling wholly ambivalent, despite her boyfriend’s pure enthusiasm. SMALL, BEAUTIFULLY MOVING PARTS takes a comic and poignant look at one woman’s coming-of-parenthood in the age of technology.

Claire in Motion

Three weeks after her husband’s sudden disappearance, math professor Claire Hunger believes he could be alive. But just as the police are winding down the search, and her 12-year old son is beginning to grieve, she discovers that Paul had not been behaving like Paul at all. She meets the alluring art student Allison, with whom he was embarking on an elaborate sculpture project. Through her, Claire learns that Paul was stretching in ways that she cannot even begin to imagine, all of which he kept secret. As she loses her grip on who he was, she begins to unravel, questioning her own identity, interrogating her own memories and stumbling toward the unknown. [Synopsis courtesy of SXSW]
