"Fast, Cheap" Sells World Rights

A year since its debut at Sundance ’97, the worldwide rights to “Fast, Cheap & Out
of Control
” have been acquired by Fox Lorber Associates. “Fast, Cheap”,
directed by Errol Morris, opened domestically October 3rd and has already
grossed over $600,000. The film was one of the most celebrated
documentaries of 1997, landing on over 40 top-ten lists. “Fast, Cheap” was
also honored as Best Documentary by the National Board of Review, Boston
Society of Film Critics, New York Film Critics Circle and the National
Society of Film Critics. The film was released domestically by Sony Pictures

“Errol Morris has consistently broken new ground with his documentary
features, and we are thrilled to add his latest film to our library.
Critics and film-goers alike in the U.S. have responded favorably to this
