The Sundance Online Film Festival will also feature its Short Films Showcase
over the web, allowing visitors to view shorts that are screening at the
Sundance Film Festival. The Short Film Showcase will be announced prior to
the actual Park City event and will run concurrently.

Attendees to the Sundance Film Festival can view participating online films
at the Zenith Theatre and Sundance Digital Center. HP is supplying the event
PCs located at various festival venues in order to allow festgoers the

favorite and the winner will be awarded the Sundance Online Film Festival
Award on January 23. Awards will also be presented to one film from both the
animation and shorts categories.

“The state of art and media on the Internet is maturing rapidly. The 31
projects selected for the Online Film Festival are entertaining, while being
extremely different from traditional film,” said John Cooper, director of
programming for the Sundance Film Festival. “This year’s program represents
the breadth and creativity of artists developing work for exhibition on the
Internet.” The Sundance Online Film Festival concludes February 5. [Brian
