The London Film Festival, which wrapped in the British capital this weekend has hit the road. The event is presenting screenings in a number of U.K. cities through November 23. Over the weekend, organizers announced the festival winners before taking the show on the road.

Siddiq Barmak’s “Osama” was awarded the festival’s Sutherland Trophy, which honors “the most original and imaginative first feature in the festival,” according to organizers. Jury members gave the Satyajit Ray award to Henrik Ruben Genz’s “Someone Like Hodder,” honoring the first-time filmmaker with a prize that recognizes a director who “captures the compassion and humanism of Ray’s vision.”

FIPRESCI film critics awarded their prize to Eugene Green’s “Le Monde Vivant” (The Living World). In presenting the prize, the international critics described it as “a graceful, joyous, and entirely unpredictable film, steeped in medieval mythology, in Bresson, Rohmer, and Lacan: a film of ogres, knights, and lions. A delight.”

In the best short film competition, Alicia Duffy’s “The Most Beautiful Man in the World” won the prize which includes an award of £10,000 in prize money.

Among the films screening during the London Film Festival tour, which will hit Nottingham, Canterbury, Manchester, and other cities, are Lars von Trier’s “Dogville,” Alejandro Agresti’s “Valentin,” Pat O’Neill’s “The Decay of Fiction,” Alison Peeble’s “Afterlife,” Gabriele Salvatores’ “I’m Not Scared,” and David Lean’s “Summer Madness.”
