From the Frontlines of a Move

So, I’ve found a few minutes to sit back and try and rest after what has seemed like 72 hours of nonstop moving, or things related to moving. I still don’t have cable or Internet (I’m having to use the “Business Center” at my new building for the purposes of this blog).

Doesn’t it seem like time stands still while you’re moving? The same could be said for festival weeks, as well, so I guess I’m kind of used to it. But without my connections to the real world, I only get flashes of what’s going on today. The M. Night Shyamalan doc was a fraud. Bryan Singer is the one to direct Superman, even though Michael Bay was tipped earlier. People are upset because Arnold called folks “girlie men.”

Sounds like I haven’t missed too much. Back to the move, I suppose, as I try to finalize those details of living in a new space. Meanwhile, John Pierson emails me to let me know that the Pierson family begins their countdown to the great Austin relocation of 2004. It’s good for a perspective on all things with packing tape. Including that new Petey Pablo CD…
