Shoot TV, Not People

Shoot TV, Not People

I’m back at my apartment just for a minute in-between our TV shoot and an Austin Film Society dinner…
Up early, for a Saturday, I got to the Draught House (an Austin pub), where we shot the introduction segments for our upcoming TV show, SXSW Presents. A pub was a nice location choice from our crew (Thanks, Mike and Andrew), and my position for most of the segment was sitting on a barstool with a pint in my hand. We filmed six segments total, and I probably don’t need to explain that I loosen up considerably as the segments proceed from #1 to #6. If the show had 14 episodes, I surely would have been sloshed by the final one, murmuring about the show and asking the video crew for its phone number.

As it was, the shoot was a breeze. Next, is the post-production process. But immediately next, I need to get into an Austin Saturday night.
