Al Franken Added to SXSW

So yes, the festival is just around the corner but that hasn’t stopped us from adding guests and speakers.

Al Franken has been added to the schedule, set to participate in an interview panel as well as a book-signing at SXSW 2005. Here’s some more information:

Author, talk radio pundit, comedian, actor, and potential U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken will participate in a one-on-one conversation with Evan Smith of Texas Monthly from 3:30 – 4:15 pm on Monday afternoon, March 14. In the 1970s, Franken helped change the face of modern comedy. More recently, he has helped alter the face of modern political commentary via his best-selling books and the Air America broadcast network. At SXSW, he will offer his perspectives on the future of Internet radio, American politics and life in the Lone Star State.
