If you missed bowling doc A League of Ordinary Gentlemen when it played the festival circuit last year… well, you’re in luck. Magnolia Pictures picked up the film and it begins opening in theaters on May 27. The film premiered at SXSW last year and went on to win the audience award. After that, it screened at Tribeca, AFI Fest, and various other stops.
It’s a really entertaining and probing look not only at the current state of the professional bowling world, but at the debate over corporate sports and the makrteing of athletic events. Check it out, but in the meantime, you can see the trailer for the film on the official site.
