I haven’t been to D.C. in about five years (during the 2000 election dispute, of all times to be here), but since when could cab drivers pick up other people when they have you in as their fare? Has this always been the case?
Just seems odd, in a city with a lot of business to get done, that cab drivers can stop while en route and pick up other people and drop them off. All before dropping you off.
Then again, sounds like U.S. government, in a way.
