Jarmusch to be Honored At Gotham Awards

Jim Jarmusch will be honored with a tribute at the 15th Annual Gotham Awards this month. The IFP has announced that it will honor the filmmaker November 30th at this year’s Gotham Awards ceremony.

Jarmusch began his career in 1980 with the film “Permanent Vacation,” continuing by making such movies as “Stranger Than Paradise,” “Down By Law,” “Mystery Train,” “Dead Man,” “Night on Earth,” “Year of the Horse,” “Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai,” “Coffee and Cigarettes,” and “Broken Flowers.”

Among the other honorees at this year’s Gothams will be actor Matt Dillon and a list of nominees that were recently announced.
