"Violence" Wins Online Prize

David Cronenberg‘s “A History of Violence” won the best picture award from the Online Film Critics Society. The 138-member group presented their 9th annual awards, awarding “Violence” two other awards: best director for Cronenberg and Maria Bello, best supporting actress. Philip Seymour Hoffman won the best actress prize for “Capote,” while Reese Witherspoon won best actress for “Walk the Line.” “Downfall” from Germany won the best foreign-language film prize and Werner Herzog‘s “Grizzly Man” won best documentary.
