Minnesota Producers Conference Focuses On Location Shooting

The IFP Minnesota Independent Producers Conference is scheduled to take place Saturday, April 22 at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Producer Christine Kunewa Walker and writer/producer Joel Viertel will headline the day-long event that is constructed around the theme of location shooting. Filmmakers James Bigham and Clint Allen, who produced “Sweet Land,” and “Junebug‘ producer, Mike. S. Ryan, will also lead panel discussions with tips about shooting on location and conduct case studies of their films. The conference takes place during the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival, which will screen Mora Stephen’s “Conventioneers” the night before.
