Just yesterday in this blog, I wrote about two things that are no longer accurate after 24 hours. That’s just the nature of festivals:
1. Andrea Arnold’s Red Road, which I liked but feared would not find U.S. distribution, today announced a deal with Tartan Films.
2. My pal Winnie Lau, of Fortissimo Films, will no longer split her time between Hong Kong and Amsterdam, as the company has announced the opening of a New York office, which she will head.
Overnight, things can change.
