IFC's Sehring to Receive Woodstock Trailblazer Award

IFC Entertainment president Jonathan Sehring will be honored with the Trailblazer Award at the seventh annual Woodstock Film Festival (October 11 – 15), Meira Blaustein, executive director and co-founder of the event announced Thursday. Sehring has played an integral role in the creation of the Independent Film Channel, IFC Productions, IFC Films, and more recently IFC Center in New York as well as a second distribution label, IFC First Take. Additionally, he has served as executive producer on many productions, including “Boys Don’t Cry,” and “Me and You and Everyone We Know.” Entertainment attorney/producer John Sloss (Sloss Law/Cinetic Media) received the inaugural Trailblazer Award last year.
