AGLIFF 2006 Starts Friday

The 19th Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival (AGLIFF) will open on Friday, September 29 with the double Opening Night feature of Puccini for Beginners, and Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds. AGLIFF has always been a fun and exciting event, year after year. Some other highlights audiences should not miss over the next few days, include: beloved Montreal hit C.R.A.Z.Y., Q. Allan Brocka’s Boy Culture, the moving documentary Camp Out, Ash Christian’s very funny Fat Girls, Ned Farr’s award-winning The Gymnast, Katherine Brooks’ sweet Loving Annabelle, Tomer Heymann’s doc Paper Dolls, and then, of course, John Cameron Mitchell’s new classic, Shortbus. In other words, it’s a great program at AGLIFF 19. For more, including interviews with some of the filmmakers, check out the AGLIFF coverage over at The Austin Chronicle.
