Hal Ashby’s “The Last Detail”

Hal Ashby's "The Last Detail"

Having just watched “The Last Detail,” a classic by one of the early pioneers of the 1970’s Hollywood Renaissance, Hal Ashby, I thought I’d share this scene from the film, which features an amazingly volatile Jack Nicholson in one of his first breakthrough roles as a navy man who has to escort a naive prisoner to jail, played by Randy Quaid. Enjoy.

(Warning: Some mighty foul language.)
