100 submissions and counting...

Call for entries for the Atlanta Film Festival have been open for little over two weeks, and submissions are starting to pile up!

Since we are moving the festival forward from June to April for the 31st event–an official announcement about our dates and our venue partners will be forthcoming–the time table for submissions this year is shorter. Filmmakers interested in submitting to an Oscar-qualifying film festival that promises to deliver some Southern Hospitality, check us out.

Dan Krovich, our new Festival Director, is looking forward to taking a look at the submissions.

I’ll be writing more about the process soon. I believe filmmakers, audiences and industry folks alike might enjoy hearing about the elements and decisions that go into building a festival program.
