I finally caught Robert De Niro’s The Good Shepherd yesterday, and have to admit that I’m joining the crowd of supporters and fans of the film. It’s overlong and has about three or four endings, but it was totally entertaining and gripping. They don’t make espionage thrillers like it anymore (though, I’m dying to see The Lives of Others)… so it’s a totally welcome treat for fans of classics like Three Days of the Condor, The Conversation, or even No Way Out.
