Robbie’s ‘Good Doctor’

Robbie's 'Good Doctor'

It was revealed today that British pop star Robbie Williams has entered rehab for an addiction to painkillers. I guess these lyrics from his 2006 Rudebox song, “Good Doctor,” were more honest than I thought:

Now if you go to the barber shop long enough, you’re goin’ get a hair cut
And if go to the doctor’s regular, then you got’s to be a fuck up
Well I’ve got 5 or 6 if I’m at a loss
Do I have a history of drug abuse? Well I never tick that box
And I know that some of you are going to be really really cross
The drugs stop working so prescription pills are boss
The glory days are gone and we’ve all stopped havin’ it
No raves no more, just bedside cabinet
