iwLOGOBWSMsite.jpgI don’t usually link to or hype indieWIRE articles on this blog, but I probably should do that a bit more often. Today is a particularly great day in iW with two terrific new articles.

In the latest edition of indieWIRE’s Monthly Doc column, Jonny Leahan looks at a community of documentary bloggers online and linking to the article, Agnes Varnum wonders when the newly christened Doc Bloggers Alliance (as they are informally calling themselves) will have a logo…

Also today, Mike Jones weighs in with an excellent Dispatch from Texas and the new AFI Dallas International Film Festival. In about 800 words, Jones succinctly captures the spirit and substance of the festival and offers solid tips on some of the films screening at the upstart event. The article leads an eclectic list of recent iW Dispatches that have taken us to fests in Greece, Argentina, Cleveland and Bermuda. Check ’em out in indieWIRE’s busy On The Scene section.
