For the seven or eight people who are not on Slamdance co-founder, and media provocateur Dan Mirvish’s massive distribution email list (you know who you are…), I’ll convey the news that Dan has once again broken his leg:

Just wanted to let you know that I’m nothing if not consistent. I
just broke my left leg again (though in a different part from the
first time around, and not nearly as serious – no blood loss this
time!). I’m currently in Aspen at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival with
Eitan Gorlin premiering our new short pilot called “Sheldon.” The
screening yesterday went great and we’ve had some terrific meetings
out here. But now we’re cutting the trip short, heading back to LA,
and I’ll probably have surgery next week sometime. To read all the
details, go to this blog page of the HBO site (I’ve been one of their
guest bloggers this week.)

From now on, better we just say, Mazel Tov!

Get well soon, Dan.

And best of luck on your other new project you were telling me about. You know, the third part of your trilogy…
