“Roscoe Lee?!? You’re Famous!”

"Roscoe Lee?!? You're Famous!"

R.I.P. Roscoe Lee Browne, one of the great voices of the film world. He’s a respected, award-winning actor, but Browne also made a huge impression on film audiences as the memorable narrator for films like Babe and the upcoming Smiley Face, where he has a humorous exchange with Anna Faris that includes one of the few times you’d probably ever hear him utter the words “you fucking pothead” in his trademark intonation. Browne had a successful career as a go-to character actor, with a resume full of stand-out TV and film roles, perhaps best-known to 1980s rerun viewers as the character Dr. Foster in episodes of The Cosby Show and A Different World. Check out a scene from one of his many memorable appearances as Dr. Foster:
