‘Inside’ @ Fantastic Fest

'Inside' @ Fantastic Fest

New announcements and added titles will be coming to the Fantastic Fest Web site, later this week. Things are shaping up to be a blast for the September 20-27 Austin geek fest. Recently, I snagged Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury’s Inside for Fantastic Fest. This is a film that’s gonna scare and disturb the hell out of audiences. It screens next month at the Toronto International Film Festival (as part of Colin Geddes’ expertly curated “Midnight Madness” section) and I’m eager to see how crowds respond in Canada. It’s a horrific nightmare of cat-and-mouse between a pregnant woman left all alone in her house, and a deranged/mysterious woman stopping at nothing to get what she came for. And, your imagination can start to fill in some of the blanks. But, trust me, there are some images in this hypnotically-directed film that you will not expect.
