One of the new American indie features that I’ve been dying to see, is Adventures of Power. Because, it comes from filmmakers I know, trust, and admire. Especially its director: Ari Gold. I’d seen the film’s site and its cast but it wasn’t until seeing today’s announcement of more Sundance titles that I realized the film starred Adrien Grenier. As in, the star of Entourage. In a film directed by someone with the same name as Jeremy Piven’s character in the HBO show. But it’s not that Ari Gold. It’s the award-winning shorts filmmaker of such acclaimed (and SXSW winning) films as Culture and Helicopter. You can see for yourself, on Ari’s Web site. And hey, here’s a clip about the new film:
