Cinematexas Photos by Janet

I’m out of Austin for a few days, so I missed Sunday night’s portion of the Cinematexas Viking Funeral at the Alamo Ritz. The headliner was Ronnie Bronstein’s award-winning feature Frownland. Janet Pierson, however, was in attendance and took some photos. And, she sent them to me. Here’s a couple:

(Cinematexas co-founder Bryan Poyser, left, hangs out with Frownland director Ronnie Bronstein, at the Alamo on Sunday night.)

(Also hanging out in the Alamo lobby are Kamp Katrina co-director David Redmon, left, and Grainy Pictures co-prez John Pierson. And, it was apparently a total coincidence that they both chose to wear identical True/False Film Festival jackets on Sunday. David and his partner Ashley, recently relocated to a town near Austin.)
