SXSW 2008: Press Roundup

Several publications and Web sites out there have started taking a closer look at some of the features playing SXSW 2008. We wanted to give you a quick round-up. Check these out:

The Advocate takes a look at four features at this year’s fest that potentially appeal to the LGBT audience (and much more, trust me). They include: Daryl Wein’s Sex Positive, Olaf de Fleur’s The Amazing Truth About Queen Raquela, Gabriel Fleming’s The Lost Coast, and Brittany Blockman & Josephine Decker’s Bi The Way.

The Hype Wire has a bunch of info about Aaron Rose & Joshua Leonard’s fantastic SXSW 2008 premiere documentary, Beautiful Losers.

The gang at First Showing have some on-set pictures from Gregg Bishop’s midnighter Dance of the Dead, as well as further details on the film.
