With the kick off of SXSW, I am even more keenly aware that the Atlanta Film Festival is about one month away! (Like our good friend Tom Hall over at Sarasota, we, too are burning midnight oil in the ATL, proofing the festival program guides, and toiling over all manner of technical and travel logistics.)
It is all so abstract, then the event begins to develop form. Reading the program guide, with film dates, times, and pictures, it all starts to take shape.
But it wasn’t until I first took a look at the hot new Atlanta Film Festival trailer that the festival began to feel real.

The ECG crew–Jason, Trey, Josh, Travis and the other Jason (whom some of y’all may know as the winner of the Howard Stern Film Festival, and his subsequent stint on Howard TV)–have all been tremendous supporters of IMAGE and the Atlanta Film Festival.
Not only have they provided valuable production services pro bono, but they’ve often made our projects a priority, pushing themselves to the limit, sometimes turning down more lucrative offers for our benefit. The time sensitive (and admittedly last minute!) nature of so much of what we do places demands on working professionals. But ECG has come through. ECG never ceases to amaze me with crisp top quality HD production and post production services, wicked effects, resonant sound design, and razor sharp editing.

Without the support of remarkably talented and generous folks like those at Max2o advertising and ECG, organizations such as IMAGE and projects like the Atlanta Film Festival would cease to function. Like so many non-profits, we are dependent upon the kindness of strangers…
But in this case, I am happy to say, ECG and Max are more than strangers–they’ve become friends. Working with everyone on the creative campaign has been an absolute delight–and it is my hope we’ll be fortunate enough to work with both teams again.
