So, while I’m away in Austin, NASCAR nation has descended upon Atlanta Motor Speedway.
In honor of this, I invite you to watch not one, but two(!) short films by local filmmaker Mike Friedman (and the Cougars) for recent IMAGE Rapid i Movement 50 hour film making competitions.
The first is a brilliant parody of Criterion DVD extras, and the self importance of many directors.
The second is a faux film strip slide show of Atlanta landmarks.
They are both on funny or die. And they are both funny…
