The Texas Longhorns are well on their way, after today’s first big win in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Granted, they kinda kicked Austin Peay’s ass, with a final 74-54 score. The swiftness and ease of Texas’ win today was probably best represented in the last 90 seconds of the game: Austin Peay had to delay the game because of one player’s tricky contact lens. With hardly a minute left and a 20-point difference, it only prolonged the inevitable. So, congrats to the Horns and best of luck with Sunday’s next game, against Miami. Odds are, Miami will actually put up a fight and hopefully the Horns are prepared for that.
