iW NEWS | Bleiberg To Give "Adam" Qualifying Run

Bleiberg Entertainment will release Paul Schrader‘s “Adam Resurrected” in New York and Los Angeles for a qualifying run in December. Starring Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe, the film is based on the novel by Israeli author Yoram Kaniuk. “‘Adam Resurrected’ has long been a passion project for Werner Wirsing and I, and it was incredibly important for us to release this film in theaters for awards consideration,” said producer Ehud Bleiberg. “Paul Schrader and [screenwriter] Noah Stollman tackled a very complex story about survival and psychological healing, and Jeff Goldblum’s raw performance will truly blow audiences away.” “Adam” premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and will next be seen at the 2008 AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles, where it screens November 8 and 9.
