iW NEWS | Inaugural Bel Air Fest Announces Slate

The first annual Bel Air Film Festival has unveiled its line-up of films to be screened in Bel Air and Beverly Hills from November 14 to November 19, 2008. “It is time Bel Air had a film festival to call their own. A large portion of the entertainment industry resides here and this is a wonderful opportunity to bring a community together,” said Bel Air Film Festival Director Melody Storm in a statement. Screenings include “Louise Dahl-Wolfe: Painting with Light,” a doc about the photographer’s life and her “discovery” of actress Lauren Bacall, “James Gill Full Circle,” an autobiographical look at American pop artist James Gill, David Sauvage‘s “Carissa,” the story of a homeless 12-year old in Fresno, Michael Addis‘ “Heckler,” featuring Jamie Kennedy trying to get to bottom of heckling, and “The Jill and Tony Curtis Story,” directed by Ian Ayres.
