Despite an extremely packed sixth day here in Los Angeles, that ended with the bizarre loss of my live awards show at the BAFTA/LA Awards in Beverly Hills (more in a later post on that), I managed to make it through an hour of LA traffic (I’m starting to understand now, rush hour is 9am to 7pm here) and to the 2pm Prop 8 protest out the gigantor Mormon Temple in Westwood, Los Angeles. I stayed for about an hour and a half, and wish I had some dramatic account to retell. But I don’t. Considering that I still saw protestors when I drove past it again at 11pm, maybe others do.. All I saw was a few thousand determined people with a barrage of clever signs on one side of a fence, and four Mormon security guards on another.
But I do, once again, have a ton of photos (and let it be known I too think #6 is a wee bit extreme. death???)…
