Igor Volshin‘s “Nirvana” won the grand jury prize for narrative feature at the 2008 Lone Star International Film Festival in Ft. Worth, TX, while Tom Quinn‘s “The New Year Parade” won a special jury prize. Eric Bricker‘s “Visual Acoustics – The Modernism of Julius Shulman” took best documentary, while “The Banishment” by Andrei Zvyaginstev won best foreign-language film. “My Mom Smokes Weed” by Clay Liford won best short.
