Production companies Duly Noted Inc and Mosley Media Group announced their partnership to bring writer/director Richard Zelniker‘s “Vinyl” to the screen. The film’s story will follow “five young women who face dramatic, life-altering choices about their friendships and their relationships with members of an up and coming rock and roll band.” The two companies’ collaboration marks the first foray into film production for Mosley Media Group’s head, music producer/performer Timbaland. “I am so excited to enter into this partnership, which will allow me to explore my creativity even more,” Timbaland said in a statement. Duly Noted’s Effie T. Brown (“Real Women Have Curves,” “Rocket Science“) will take on the role of Producer for the project. “Effie Brown has been as innovative and creative in film as Mosley Music Group has been in our approach to making great music that has no boundaries,” said Mosley’s Marcus Spence in a statement.
