My thoughts are with the people of Mumbai tonight. It has been seven years since my own city was attacked, my neighbors murdered in an act of outrageous violence. The people of Mumbai live with terror every day and thousands have died in the past year. I won’t be able to sleep tonight; I am haunted by my own past and trying desperately to keep up with news from the city as American 24-hour news stations run pre-planned “special programming” well into Thanksgiving night. I am grateful for the internet:
